Hi, I am leaving for Kauai on the 1st, so far I have ariline tickets, and no hotel. There are a lot of choices, and it got a bit confusing. I am torn between South shore and coconut shore. Also I am travelling alone, so I am looking for a decent hotel or resourt, which wouldn’t be overly expensive. Ideally it would be something safe, with some things to do at the resort/hotel territory, so you can spend time there and maybe find some company – I am not looking for nightclubs or any of that type of nightlife. I love swimming and outdoors. what are the hotels that have swimmable beaches with not too much of tides/waves? I will appreciate any comments/suggestions. Thanks in advance.
You can visit the beautiful islands of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Big Island – and each one has so much to offer its visitors.
What’s more, there is a great range of self catering properties available here, so it’s an ideal destination for a holiday property rental.
There is something for everyone in Hawaii. Not surprisingly, it’s a beach lovers’ paradise. But there are also many places to explore, tourist attractions to see and various sporting activities available here.
Kauai, which is also known as the Garden Island, is a great destination for those keen on outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, golfing, wind surfing, horseback riding and scuba diving. But if you’re looking to do something less energetic, you can simply chill out and sunbathe on one of Kauai’s delightful beaches.
The island of Oahu is another great Hawaiian destination. Here you will find Honolulu, the capital of the state of Hawaii. Honolulu itself boasts plenty to see and do, including museums, historic buildings, art galleries, restaurants and bars. While you are there, try to visit Iolani Palace. Also in Honolulu is the Ala Moana Center, the world famous shopping centre which is a must-visit for all those who are looking to enjoy some retail therapy!
While you are staying on Oahu, you should also check out the world famous Waikiki Beach, which is an ideal place to learn how to surf.
Molokai is another delightful Hawaiian island which is well worth a visit. If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and want to just relax during your holiday, this is the ideal holiday destination. You will find peace and tranquility in Molokai, which is also known as The Friendly Island.
If you are a keen golfer, you should head to the island of Lanai, as it has two championship golf courses! And on Lanai you can see Keahiakawelo (also known as Garden of the Gods), which is an amazing landscape with various shapes and sizes of rocks and boulders.
There’s also the Hawaiian island of Maui. This is a good location to go humpback whale watching. You should be able to see the whales around Maui from mid-December to mid-May each year. You can take a boat trip and, hopefully, will catch a sighting of these incredible creatures during your visit here.
Hawaii’s Big Island, meanwhile, is a great island to explore. Here you can visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which is a popular tourist attraction.
Not surprisingly, Hawaii is a perfect wedding and honeymoon destination. This is a truly beautiful part of the world to get married and to spend an idyllic honeymoon, too.
But whether you’re planning on tying the knot or not, Hawaii makes a superb location for any holiday, whether it’s a family vacation, a sporting trip or a more relaxing break.
These beautiful Hawaiian islands have something to offer everyone. And no matter which island you choose, you are likely to have a fun and relaxing time during your holiday.
When looking to make your Hawaii travel arrangements, for your Big Island fishing trip, you will want to start with your airline reservations. You will need to make reservations aboard a Hawaii airline. When doing so, you may want to examine online travel websites, particularly those that deal with Hawaii vacations. This enables you to eliminate much of the research and just find a flight that can get to your Big Island fishing destination.
In addition to making your Hawaii airline reservations, you will also need to make arrangements for your overnight accommodations. Although your first thought may be to book a stay at a traditional hotel or a vacation resort, you may want to take the time to examine Hawaii vacation rentals. Hawaii vacation rentals come in a number of different formats, including Hawaii villas, condos, homes, and apartment rentals. In fact, did you know that many Hawaii vacation rentals are considered beachfront rentals? Even if you are unable to book a stay at a Big Island beachfront rental, many Hawaii vacation rentals still provide you with ocean views.
Once you have officially booked your Hawaii travel plans, namely the reservations for your air travel and your overnight accommodations, you will want to shift your focus to the fishing aspect of your vacation. When planning a Big Island Hawaii fishing trip do you know that you have a number of different options, in terms of how you can fish? You do and a few of your options are briefly touched on below.
If you have a boating license or at least proof of a completed training course, you may be able to rent your own fishing boat or sail boat. This is an option that many tourists enjoy. Perhaps, the only downside to this approach is the trouble or the “red tape,” that you may have to go through. Most boat rental companies and boat owners will not just hand over the keys to their boats to anyone. With that in mind, if you are able to successfully rent a boat for your next Big Island fishing trip, you may enjoy the peace, quiet, and freedom that you have.
Another one of your options is to charter a boat. When you charter a boat, you will be passengers on the boat in question and have full use of it, but you will not be responsible for driving or navigating. Even when chartering a boat for your next Big Island fishing adventure, you have a number of different options. For example, you may be able to make reservations aboard a privately chartered fishing boat or a group chartered boat.
In keeping with chartering a fishing boat, if you are looking for peace, quiet, and relaxation, a private chartered fishing boat may be your best option. On the other hand, if you are more concerned with price, a group chartered boat may be your best option, as the rates tend to be a bit more affordable. You may also want to examine additional activities, such as snorkeling or scuba diving. Many Big Island boat chartering companies offer multiple activities aboard their vessels. This is great if you are traveling with your family or another couple, as everyone may gain access to an activity they enjoy.
Finally, it is important to examine supplies. Depending on your fishing supplies, you may be unable to bring them with you on your trip. You may need to rent instead. With that in mind, you may find that the cost of a chartered fishing boat included supplies, such as fishing poles. If not, you may want to rent fishing supplies for your whole trip and store your supplies in your Hawaii vacation rental. This will give you the opportunity to come and go fishing as you please, even if it isn’t aboard a boat.

Are there any tips on getting cheap flight tickets to NY in Late December/ Early January?
Would this North Korean missile launch towards Hawaii be considered a threat to our health and safety?
My girlfriend and I moved to Hawaii early May for a summer stay. Our lease ends this July on the 31st. It’s not too much of my concern but our parents are urging us to come back home due to the North Korean missile launch that may head towards Hawaii.
My girlfriend and I have researched this issue but there isn’t much information at our disposal. Regardless, we would like to head back home to Miami to be safe, rather than sorry. The Hawaii’s Residential Landlord-Tennant Handbook states:
Termination at Any Time – Section 63. If a condition exists within the premises that is not due to the tenant’s neglect and that substantially deprives the tenant of enjoyment of the dwelling under the rental agreement, the tenant may notify the landlord in writing of the situation and terminate the rental agreement if the condition is not remedied within one week. No notice needs to be given if the condition poses an imminent threat to health or safety. If the condition was caused by landlord’s negligence or done willfully, the tenant may recover any damages caused by the condition.
Would this “North Korean Missile Launch” be considered an “imminent threat to our health and safety” and therefore allow us to terminate our lease without penalty? What other steps and procedures should we take to properly terminate our lease?
